Offering up for bid @ no reserve! A recent old estate find! This is one fo several old quilts i will be listing today in seperate auctions! A wonderful early handsewn country quilt! Wonderful primitive pattern.
The backing fabric is wonderful tiny red floral pattern. This early quilt has been a hanger for quiet a long time. Adn has a pocket stitch on the back if you wish to hang it. It measures approx. 68 x 80. Most likely dates from the late 1800's. ~its in decent shape considering the age and type of fabrics~. There is some fabric loss mostly in the corners and the binding is worn. A few fabric breakdowns throughout mostly the browns. Other than that it looks wonderful. Not a quilt to be actually used but a wonderful quilt to display. ~stored for years~.
